Actually yes, when I read it I found it very inspiring, I pictured in my mind Aeneas running through the burning streets of Troy, fighting against impossible odds, then when he lost his wife in the streets and tried to go back to find her. Usually I figure if a story can make you picture things in your mind then it is truly reaching you, but that is just my opinion.
