: I am a great admirerer of Thomas Mann, having read JOSEPH AND HIS BROTHERS numerous times over the last twenty years. Only this week I read THE HOLY SINNER. I am curous to know more about the man. I have read several biographical sketches and find no mention of his religious views. He certainly had strong spiritual sensitivity. I would like information about his personal views on religion, whether he had any religious affiliation and eads to anything he might have written that deals specifically with religion or spirituality.
