I am working on a paper that needs to include a treatment of the Faustian bargin (i.e., the selling of one's soul to the devil). Can anyone tell me where there is a succient presentation, or outline, of such legend, folklore, and myth for the Western Canon? Any and all response will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
