I have just purchased a copy of this book that is unlike the others iv'e seen.
This book is a hardcover book, that seems to have a picture of some lady on the cover.
This picture seems to be glued to the cover. Inside this book there is a signature that seems to be that of George Eliot's with the date 1908 hand written on it.
Can anyone shed some light on why this copy is the way it is? I would be gratefull.
