Hi, I am writing a paper which will interpret Medea's acts of revenge against Jason through a Freudian viewpoint. This would mean that I will stress the reasons for Medea's extreme actions as a result of her ual desires which are usually locked up in the "Id" and surface in Medea's case in her ego and make her commit these brutal acts of revenge. If any one can help me develop this argument or perhaps give some pointers on other experiences which might have made Medea commit these crimes (i.e. her relationship with her father??). Thanks very much in advance for your help!
